Sarah March, LMHC, CASAC Advanced has been practicing mental health counseling in residential substance use disorder treatment for over 10 years. For the past five years she has supervised and overseen implementation and development of a SAMHSA-funded pregnant & parenting women service grant within a New York State Office of Addiction Services and Support licensed treatment facility focusing on providing care to pregnant and parenting women diagnosed with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders & their families. She has specialty interest and training in working with traumatized forensic populations and justice involved individuals and families, trauma informed care and gender specific interventions. She holds a masters degree in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
